Our group of 12 (including three Rotary family members) volunteered at Valley Outreach. We assisted clients shopping at the food shelf, restocked shelves, packed produce boxes, loaded food pickups, and accepted clothing donations. It was a wonderful opportunity to serve the community and assist a local organization doing good in the world.

A group of local Rotarians recently traveled to Nicaragua as part of the Rotary District 5960 LIFT program. The LIFT program is a Rotary 501c3 and is led by Rick Heidick, from the Stillwater Sunrise club. LIFT has been working to alleviate extreme poverty in rural Nicaragua for about ten years and recently completed a community water system which brought water to a rural community of about 125 homes.

We covered 14 hours of bell ringing for the Salvation arming on December 14

Just before Thanksgiving 2023, our club packed meals at Meals from the Heart in Stillwater.
